Cecelia here. As I start guest blogging for Luna, I have been reflecting on how our hormone shifts not only affect me, but every woman out there.
With each post, I hope, I can share some educational resources, including tidbits and information.
Here we go...
My Personal Journey: Movement, Menopause, and Motivation

As I reviewed the list of a thousand topics to blog about, I glanced at my Instagram feed. I saw my favorite Peloton trainer discussing how they were introducing new classes specifically geared toward menopausal women.
Hold the phone! What?!? Was this true?
I did some digging, and yes, Peloton has partnered with Restin Health to offer new classes geared towards menopausal women. You can read more about the initiative here.
Though I’m technically “post-menopause,” its effects linger—hello, weight gain. Like many, I’ve struggled to find consistency in my workouts. I bought my Peloton bike last year with high hopes of reclaiming my strength and shedding some pounds. And while life gets busy and workouts sometimes fall off the calendar, when I ride, I feel amazing.
One trainer who’s made a lasting impact on me is Christine D’Ercole. Her classes are more than just workouts; they’re affirmations. She reminds you that you are enough, just as you are.
Christine D’Ercole: Leading with Heart
When I learned Christine was helping lead Peloton’s new menopause-focused collection, I felt a renewed sense of motivation. She’s not just teaching, she’s living it. She shares her own journey openly, and that vulnerability is powerful.
In a recent Instagram post, Christine wrote:
“National Championships are 3 weeks away and I don’t feel ready. The effects of low Estrogen on the muscles’ ability to fire as they did when we were younger is real. We may need more recovery time, we may not be as fast (who knows), but that does not mean we stop doing the things we love. I am racing because I love to ride my bike and I love my community.”— @iamicaniwillido
Her words hit home. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence, joy, and community.

Lately, I’ve been focused on exploring healthy eating options, and I’ve developed a newfound obsession with chickpeas! There are so many delicious recipes popping up on my Instagram feed that I’ve been trying a different one each week. They’ve become a staple in my household, and I can't wait to share some creative ways to incorporate them into your own healthy living! Here is an awesome salad recipe if you're looking for something new to add to your routine!
